Three steps, one evening

  1. Write it online

Designed for the new generation, it saves as you go, so you can stop at any time and pick up where you left off. Only unlock it once you are completely happy with it.

  2. Print it at home

A PDF built for an ordinary printer: plain A4, black ink, no special paper, no posting, no appointment.

  3. Sign it with two witnesses

Sign in ink while two adults watch, both in the room at the same time. They sign it too, and neither can be someone you have left anything to. That is the moment it becomes your will.

In England and Wales no solicitor has to write your will and none has to see it. Signed in ink in front of two witnesses, a will written at your kitchen table is the same law as one written in an office — the Wills Act 1837, which has not changed.

Free until it is a will you can sign

You do not pay to find out whether this suits you. Write every section, read the finished will back on screen, change your mind twice, and decide afterwards.

  • Every section, every question
  • The whole will, read back on screen before you decide anything
  • Your account, kept, so you can come back to it

The questions people ask first

Is a will I write myself legally valid in the UK?

Yes, in England and Wales. A will is valid when you are 18 or over, of sound mind, and you sign it in ink in front of two witnesses who are both present at the same time and who sign it too. No solicitor has to be involved, and none has to see it. That is the Wills Act 1837 and it has not changed.

Who can be a witness?

Any two adults who are not beneficiaries and are not married to a beneficiary. A neighbour, a colleague, two friends. If someone you have left something to witnesses your will, the will still stands but their gift fails — which is the one mistake worth being careful about.

What does it cost?

Writing the whole will and reading it back is free. £79 once unlocks the document you print and sign, and every rewrite after that is included. There is no subscription and nothing renews.

Will somebody ring me?

No. There is no sales team, no callback form and no quote. You write it, you pay once when you want the document, and that is the whole transaction.

Can I change it later?

Yes, as often as you like, for as long as you are here. Log in, change what has changed, download it again the same day. Sign the new one in front of two witnesses and destroy the old one.

What if my situation is complicated?

Then see a solicitor. A business, a trust, property abroad, or a family likely to argue over it are all reasons to pay for advice. This is a well-made will for an ordinary estate, not legal advice.

Where is my will kept?

Encrypted, on UK-based infrastructure, against your account. We make money selling one document for a fixed price. We do not sell data and there is no advertising on any of this.

Does it cover Scotland or Northern Ireland?

The document is written for England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules, and we would rather say so than sell you a will that half works.
